2022 Verdon Estate Reserve No.8 Proprietary Red

Inspired by Bordeaux, Reserve No. 8 showcases fruit from three distinct Napa Valley vineyards, each shaped by their proximity to the Napa River and its tributaries. This off-the-beaten-path blend unites hillside intensity with vibrant, luxurious character—an expressive tribute to both the land and the water that nourishes it.

 

A bold blend of 60% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Malbec, and 15% Merlot, this wine opens with notes of blackcurrant, plum, cedar, and warm spice. The palate is layered with ripe blackberry, cocoa, and sweet tobacco, supported by firm structure and fresh acidity. Aged 18 months in 80% new French oak, it finishes long, smooth, and refined.
