Atlas Peak Chardonnay

Our third vintage of Downbeat Chardonnay is sourced high up in the Vaca Mountains overlooking Napa Valley off of Atlas Peak. This special vineyard produces a Chardonnay that is bold and refreshing with notes of baked brioche, hazelnut, apple, and vanilla. Lemon leads on the palate with warm apple pie and cream. A clean mineral finish of chalk and limestone leaves a light impression and you wanting for more.

This is a handmade wine barrel fermented in French oak and aged for 14 months. Downbeat is an excellent value, comparable to wines at a much higher price point.
